Top Hunter is an action-adventure game where you control either Roddy or Cathy as they navigate through four locations: Forest, Ice, Wind, and Fire. The goal is to defeat two bosses in each location. Both characters have retractable arms that can be used to grab enemies or other objects, which can then be thrown at others to destroy them.
The gameplay involves exploring each location, interacting with the scenery, and using the retractable arms to overcome obstacles. You can push walls over enemies to kill them, flip switches to reveal bonuses, and pull on rings to earn extra time. The game features two different planes that you can switch between by pressing a button.
