Burning Soldier is a first-person action-adventure game where you play as a soldier in a futuristic war against an alien race known as the Kaisertian. Your mission is to stop them from destroying humanity, taking on various objectives from asteroid belts to final showdowns on Earth's surface.

The gameplay is straightforward, with simple controls that involve navigating a cursor using the D-pad, aiming with the main buttons, and firing two automatic weapons at incoming enemies. However, what sets Burning Soldier apart from other 3DO first-person shooters is its lack of ship control, with the vessel moving on a predetermined course and unable to be manually altered.
